you dont seem to know much about computers.

so just go for pre made systems by dell or compaq.
if you are more of a game person go for AMD and if you are more of a lot-of-progs-running-you-not-wanting-to-close-them person then you should go for Intel

if you want both then well....go for....IN DA MIDDLE

yeh so what i was saing is that i really dont know much abought computers
but i can call myself a gamer i play all the new games as half life2 doom3 and all that and i wanna run them in the best mode with the highest performes .
so what should i but x800pro or 6800gt and i know that amd dont have a mother board that works with DDR2 yet so may be itsw better 2 buy intel so im asking for hel 2 deside .

If you are a gamer get an AMD based processor they are better for gaming. If money is no object get a x800 XT or 6800 ultra but if you want to go cheaper get a 6800 GT this is better than the x800 pro in most specs (atleast in current games). There is not much advantage or getting DDR2 RITE NOW for the money so you dont have to worry about it!
