I'm going to buy one seperately for a PC I'm putting together. What is a good size? I was thinking 22 inches. Any good reccomendations on a good one at a decent price?

19 inches on up... provided you have the real estate to set it up on your desk.
A high quality 19 inch is a much wiser choice than a 24 inch with low resolution, bad inverter, poor adjustability, angles of view, low contrast, low reliability and early failure.

Ive got a pretty old monitor, Philips 105s 15" CRT. I think those Samsung 20" Flat Panel Widescreens are good.

I just have a cheap generic-brand 17" LCD Monitor (native 1280x1024).

I also think 19" and up would be the better choice for a new monitor.
Try to get a widescreen, it enhances your computing experience by a lot.
