When I start my system windows boot manager comes up
It gives me the following options
Choose an operating system to start, or press tab to select a tool:
Earlier version of windows
Microsoft windows server 2008
Tools:
Windows memory diagnostic
I had given my system to my friend he had installed Microsoft windows server 2008
which he uninstalled while returning the system back, but its still promoting to choose the os. I am using windows xp, after choosing earlier version of windows it boots windows xp but i do not want the boot manager to come up when i start my system.
And one more thing, when I go to boot.ini in startup and recovery this is what is shows:
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FASTDETECT
and if I type MSCONFIG and go to system configuration utility and then go to boot.ini set as default option is greyed out. I don't know what to do.
could u please help me...
