Where can I download Intel ITU H.264 (h264) codec

  1. When I try to play a AVI file in WMP11, I can only hear the sound and no picture at all! I know this happen because Intel ITU H.264 (h264) codec is not installed on my computer, Do anyone know where can I download that codec from? thanks alot

    thats weird because h264 files in an AVI container would usually cause problems and is not recommended. Anyway, head on to and get their k-lite codec pack.

    Once you install that (either versions) you should be able to playback most if not all of the formats available on the web. :)

    The K-Lite Codec Pack has this H.264 codec.
    Some suggest using Cole2k Codec Pack. See

    Some say try this x264 installation module at but the AvsSource will refuse to recognize it until you recompress using the AutoGK with XviD output, then you can watch or convert to DVD with CCE

    Or go to Intel ( seeking code H264 or full name Intel ITU H.264

    Thanks to both of you, problem had been solve! just one more question: does Window Media Player 11 have Intel ITU H.264 (h264) codec pre-install? and how do I know what codec it has/support?
