    A few weeks ago I bought a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound card for my computer.

    Yesterday I bought a MSI K8N Neo nForce3 250Gb motherboard and AMD Athlon 64 with 1 gig of Kingston memory.

    The MSI board says comes with Realtek ALC850 7.1

    Is this better than my Audigy 2 PCI card I just bought or should I stick
    with the Sound Blaster card?

    Even though the Audigy 2 doesn't support 7.1 surround ,and your onboard does .I would go with the card ,usually on board sound and/or video does not have the over all power of a specialized card.
    Unless you have a special need for 7.1 .

    Is it a standard Audigy 2 or a ZS? ZS models do support 7.1 - but either way I'd do as Liquid said.
