Additional Details

If the hard drive info is important when comparing, HP laptop has 750gb listed in its Specs section. I dont know why its says 640gb in the Details section

The best I can tell the A8-4500M compares closer to i5 than it does i3. Passmark benchmark has the A8-4500M scoring 50% better than the i3-2350m.

Considering they're the same price I'd say the AMD one too. But both have 1366x768 screens... if your budget allows it try to get a 1600x900 one at least.

I have the Amd Toshiba laptop. Bought it 3 months ago. Dose a great job. I would go with it. Not just because I bought it. Just a nice laptop for the price.
