Who do you live near?

it's not that bad.... I've been to seattle a few times..... sometimes the weather was great, other times not.

I live in El Paso - the weather is great most of the year except in the summer when it is awful hot. 105+F

Hi, I am from a village called Slieverue in Co.Kilkenny, Ireland

Slieverue is strategically located in an area known in ancient
times as Comar Tri nUisce (Meeting of the rivers Nore, Barrow and Suir)
at the south east tip of County Kilkenny and the province of Leinster. Although Slieverue Village the hub of our community is located 3 miles from Waterford City, we still manage to retain our rural cuture and heritage.

Slieverue parish is home to Belview Port, the main sea port of the South East.. There are two national schools in the parish: Slieverue and Ringville.

Slieverue is also the birthplace of the famous Irish scholar John O'Donovan (1809-1861) who translated the ancient text Annals of the Four Masters into English

Im from little old Wales, UK

That's okay. Keep that impression going!

In fact, if any more people are thinking of moving up here, don't do it. I really meant to say that Seattle is really boring and there's nothing up here except geeks in Gore-tex drinking coffee and flannel-clad grunge rockers doing heroin. In the rain. You'd hate it - really, you would. Trust me on this, please?

I thought Seattle was a pretty cool city to visit for a short period of time. I really like the night life of Portland, OR right now though. I've been living in Portland for about 4 months now and I love it. I have to go back to school in January (in freezing Ohio). It's going to suck.

Short move, or long?

I will soon be moving to Hillsburrito, which is also about 30 minutes out of portland.
Are ya movin sideways? At least up? As in out of that pool?

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Doubtless some of you have heard of it, so I won't bother with directions. Thing is, there is extremely little likelihood that anyone coming here would want to visit me, as I am old, and don't know any of those. Wouldn't remember what to do with 'em if I did know some.

I didn't catch this one, but it makes me laugh, since I work in Hillsboro. I know exactly what you are talking about. You need to be bilingual to receive good service in Hillsboro.
