    hey guys,

Well i always come here for my probs, especially those with win xp =P

new problem has arrose, im surfing along, on irc, checking email ect. I click on a link thinking it was something, then boom, i see 350 telnet windows opened up. Immediate reaction: hit the reset button.

Well my computer boots up, i click in my user name to load on windows xp home, then i get a message saying : cannot load local profile.

Pretty much everything i had on that user name was deleted. I don't know how to get it back, anyone wanna help me?

    Thanks,

system restore comes in real handy with little problems like this.

is the folder that contains the profile still under "documents and settings" folder? You may have generated a new profile, such that the new one will be called user.000 (where "user" is the username) and the old one will still be lingering in the folder...
