I turn on my computer, it begans to start up, and then the moniter just goes black and won't show the desktop or anything. It has done this every day for the past week or more and it's getting harder and harder to get onto the computer. What I do is turn the moniter on/off until it shows me a glimpse of the desktop, and then I mess with the screen saver power options (while it continues to keep going black and I have to turn the moniter on and off to get glimpes of what i'm doing), and eventually it just stops going black and works for the whole rest of the day until the next morning. I checked the FAQs and I heard people with the same situation mention video cards, but I'm not that great with computers and frankly I don't even know what that is. Help?
