Wich sound card to buy, good for recording

Hi, my soundcard recently died xD so i decided to get a new one, but since im going to buy one, it would be good if i bought one that was good for recording, i wanna record stuff with my elec guitar, so if there's a board that can actually give support to that intention i would like to know some models and such. if your guitar's amplifier (with speakers) has the RCA lineout,then i would
go for M-AUDIO Audiophile 2496 4-In/4-Out Audio/MIDI Sound Card MAudio.
it already have the RCA lines IN & OUT.
