I got this strange problem, and really dont know what to do about it anymore

I cant browse certain pages; Example: I can open google, but then when i try to search something it wouldn't display anything, it gets stuck at 'Waiting for Reply'

Meanwhile some other sites i can browse without any problems. I already check Blocked sites, and its empty

My internet connection is works fine, so i have no clue what it is.

Please Help. Thank you

How to use Reset Internet Explorer Settings (RIES

To use RIES in Internet Explorer 7, follow these steps:

1. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
2. On the Advanced tab, click Reset.
3. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.
4. When Internet Explorer 7 finishes restoring the default settings, click Close, and then click OK two times.
5. Close Internet Explorer 7. The changes take effect the next time that you open Internet Explorer 7.

Note for users who cannot start Internet Explorer 7 for some reason, use RIES from Internet Options in Control Panel.

Refer here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/community/columns/ietopten.mspx
For even more options

The above will remove all Temporary Internet Files; all addons; and restore IE to defaults
If this has not helped

Then it must be on of these options:

Your Firewall has been configured to block the site
You have another Resident Protection program stopping it
Your Hosts file has been set to deny access to it
The page requires extra addons, such as Javascript enabled (note: RIES rectifies this too)
The webpage itself is faulty
Your ISP has denied access to the page
You have a port blocker enabled
You have rules setup to deny or block the page
The cached pages in your computer are not correct (note: RIES rectifies this too)
The website address is incorrect
Google program itself is blocking the page (Remove Google from Add/Remove Programs)

There are really lots of possibilities here (and probably more I can't think of right now)

Boot into Safe Mode with Networking and see if the problem persists or not when running that way.

And what product(s) are you running for your antivirus? spyware? firewall?

Ok here's another:

IE No Addons

Start --> Run --> "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff

guys, i'm gonna throw this computer out of window
i tried all the suggestions above, but nothing helped;

but guess wat, if i try to surf sites thru online proxy sites, it works
but when i go in normal mode, it doesnt find the site

Well that's because you're only viewing the proxy site, that's why we use them at school to by pass the sonic wall that blocks us from going on game websites.

The proxy site isn't blocked, but the page the proxy is feeding you are.
The proxy just renames them

Have you tried using Firefox rather than internet explorer ?
