Will my comp run cs source?

Hello i was wondering if my comp will run cs source:
bad/okay/good/excelent

Dell Dimension 2400
Pentium(R) 4cpu 2.20GHz
2.19Ghz, 256 MB of RAM

Also running Windows xp Home and has like 7 gigs harddrive space left.

Do this:

Go to www.systemrequirementslab.com and search Half-life 2 ( because Counterstrike & Half-life are basicly the same thing )

If you get Recommended your system will run Counterstrike: Source perfect!

If you get a minimum pass then upgrade your system to the stuff it needs ( videocard, RAM or something else like that )

If you fail do the same for the minimum pass results

I had a Compaq 1GB RAM, Radeon 9200SE, and a intel 2.4 processor.

It couldn't run it well, at all, it could run mind you, but the ping was through the roof! So I was constantlly kicked out. So I then built my new computer ($1200).

It wont run it the way you are hoping for.

Actualy... Befor I turned my Compaq into a gaming server I ran CS:S perfect

Specs:

512mb RAM
6200 PCI
3.20GHz processor
7200RPM hard drive

I could also run Half-life 2 with full quality + AA / AF x8 with about 45-50FPS with the same computer

Also ping is more towards Internet connection ZeroCount

ThePenguinMafia, you will most likely need to upgrade your RAM !! 256MB is pretty much nothing these days
