Guess what. Its my birthday this wendsay day and my father and I are going to spend some money on my new PC. I will slowly be buying the parts. I will start by getting all the core components first. Then I'll work on getting the more optional pieces later.

Heres what I'll be getting upfront:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ Brisbane http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103036

Biostar tForce 550 AM2 Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813138026

Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 2GB (1GB x2) RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145590

eVGA e-GeForce 7900 GS 256MB Video Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145590

Seagate Barracuda 320GB SATA-2 HDD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148140

And a cheap ASUS Cooler

Okay I know that that Cooler is kind of borderline, but it will work. Anyway now that the components that I've choose were listed here's my question. Understand that I allready have the PSU running my current POS system. Also I did the PSU calculator and it came out to 271W. Assuming that my POS PSU will run at 70% I'll have a 350W PSU hopefully.

The PSU is an Apevia (Aspire) Turbolink 500W PSU.

So could I run off of this PSU for atleast 2 months before purchasing my OCZ GameXStream 700W PSU?

It's way more than enough (the OCZ one being completely overkill in fact). Just directly get a good 400/450 from a reputable brand & you'll be good to go.
