Will PC3200 suffice ?

    Hey, I am new here and I have a big question and I would appretiate if someone answered it as soon as possible.

    I am getting a new processor but I need a new motherboard for it. I am thinking of getting a Athlon 64 3400+. I was searching for motherboards today and all the motherboards say thier ddr standard is ddr 400, I have 1 gig of ddr 333 and i am wondering if i get a new motherboard will i have to change the ram.

    Yours WILL work, but only at a slower speed. You can always buy the correct ram later.
