Will putting HD from a crashed computer cause a problem in another one?

    Just want to make sure that putting a hard drive from a crashed computer won't cause any problems for my working system. I think the hard drive is still good but didn't want to jepordize losing another system if the hard drive could cause any problems for the good system. Thanks for your assistance.

    you can try it as a slave drive, but if you think something is mechanically or electrically wrong with it, I wouldn't use it in another system. If it is just corrupt data, then try it as a slave drive.

    Use as a slave drive and recover data using a program called "restoration"
