red1776 Posts: 5,124 +194 Nov 17, 2009 #2 yes it will, the memory version of the graphics card and the system memory version are unrelated. you can run a graphics card with DDR 2,3,4 or 5 if you wish. just make sure you are using a card with the same interface of course,( PCI,AGP, PCIE etc)
