    Hey guys will this laptop be able to run skyrim on high?

    i7 2670qm 3,0ghz
    8gb ram 1333
    nvidia gt540m 2gb
    @ 1366x768 15,6 inch screen

    Hi Cake, as I posted in the other thread the specs were posted over on Bethesda's blog and with what you have I would think you're alright to run the game. However you will likely need to mess around with the settings to achieve a proper balance between eye-candy and performance. Here are some benchmarks of your gt540m, which should give you an indication of where you might place and I'd guesstimate a Medium with some High mix would be the best balance.

    you should be able to run high with low AA and lower Resolution. While GT's are Decent cards, they really struggle with AA and higher resolutions.
