I recently built the computer using the old HDD's, Vid Card, 3 RAM sticks. Buying a new copy of WinXP 32 bit, 1x 256mb DDR PC3200, and the new processor and mobo. Since installing it I can't update from Windows Update because it will cause the computer to crash at boot (blue screen) and reboot over and over again. So I went into services.msc and turned off auto updating and have had some success, without any updates to hardware or software.

However, I will get random restarts when starting or stopping some programs. Looking in the event viewer I see this error multiple times.
