    The Intel installation is successful but until I get to "SoundMax" and installing some of it's components it says "Drive not found! Please reboot and run this setup again" :confused:

    Still having troubles... =( my case is..I uninstalled the driver accidently because I was going through my Add/Remove programs and ACCIDENTLY clicked on my audio driver and then it screwed up =( Does this affect mp3 files..cause I want to move these mp3 files in to my mp3..

    I`m sorry, but I don`t know what else to suggest.

    The model of your mobo is not what`s in your profile, that`s just the chipset type.

    Except that maybe you open your case, and look for the model of your mobo. It should be printed on the mobo somewhere, possibly near the pci slots.

    Bad Directsound Drive Answer

    GO TO THE START MENU THEN CLICK RUN. IN THE BOX TYPE IN services.msc
    A SCREEN WILL POP UP. THEN SCROLL DOWN TO window audio AND CLICK ON IT. RIGHT NOW IT IS OFF SO CLICK START TO TURN IT ON. THIS WILL SOLVE THE AUDIO PROBLEM 99 PERCENT OF THE TIME.
