Windows 7 64 bit glitch?

    I have a glitch in windows 7, and i am not sure what caused it. When you have 2 different windows open, For example, ie and firefox, and you mouse over the icon, a little picture shows at the bottom, which shows what is on that window. In my os, that windows is purple.

    This may be caused by a video driver issue. Are there any yellow exclamation marks in the Device Manager?

    Have you already tried, > Right click on desktop > "Personalize" > "Window Color"?
