What antivirus/anti-malware programs are you running? Have you heard of Windows Security Essentials? Sometimes this program is installed through Microsoft Updates automatically. It can cause instability if it is installed along with other protection software

I am using NOD 32 64bit anitvirus and for malware, malware anti-bytes. I don't have microsoft security essentials installed on the computer. :)

Try running a check of the hard drive during boot up. Go to Computer, right-click on the C drive icon, select Properties, Tools, check disk for errors. Select both check boxes and say yes to schedule a disk check on restart...
