Windows 7 drivers

I recently installed windows 7 on my Compaq presario F750US laptop. I am finding it very difficult to find any drivers for win7... Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If the HP support site has no Windows 7 drivers, and Windows Update can't show any drivers, and Google can't find any Windows 7 drivers for the Compaq model, you may be out of luck. If this laptop has Vista drivers, they might work for some devices. 1GB of system memory is not enough for Windows 7 anyway

i know i ordered 2x 2gb sticks the day i upgraded. i'm using a 16gb flash drive with ready boost until then and it's running very well.

No I have not. I'm trying to do windows updates right now but keep getting random shutdowns. Error description is (bluescreen)

I see that the video driver is from 2009. Why is this? Are you running a 64-bit version of Windows 7?

Yes its a 64bit version. The driver date is from when the laptop first crashed. The ac port went out and I just left it to the side and used the desktop. When I finally replaced it a few days ago, the operating system was corrupt so I installed 7.

just fyi... HP doesn't list your notebook model as Win 7 compatible/upgradeable (see the list HERE). So i don't think Win Update will help. IDK

You can try vista drivers as tmagic already suggested. You might also try DriverIdentifier (they have a good driver database) or try googling the drivers but be prepared for the fact that you may not be able to find W7 drivers and may need to go back to what you were using. Good luck
