Windows 7 has issues with security

    hey guys ! i've had taken my portable hdd of maxtor 320 gb to one of my friends home to gt some softwares. he is using the beta version of windows 7. when i came back and switched it in my cpu and tried accessing it through my windwos 7 version.. it is showing you need to have permission from the owner at each step. m not being given the freedom as before. it is not even allowing me to copy my files.it shows 0 kb when the pointer is taken over the folder. the same when tried to access from windows xp shows the device is not accessible. access is denied !
    so please help me out of this !

    Tell your friend to upgrade Windows 7 beta to Windows 7 RC... Try right-clicking on the folder(s) you want to copy and select "run as administrator"
