Windows 7 installation problem

    During the installation of Windows 7 it gave me the message about a missing or currpt file and gave me the error code 0x80070570 and then told me to restart

    the error code didn't yeild and useful results can anyone help me please

    what file was it that is missing or corrupted? is this a burned disc? if so try to get another copy or use the original.

    well it's a proper copy to start with so it was an iso file that i burnt to DVD

    I was not questioning the authenticity of your disc.

    have you tried to burn another copy of the disc. I have had some issues like this with some bad DVDs. also burning at a slower speed may help as well.
