Is there a feature in Windows 7 that can automatically shutdown laptop after battery goes below let's say 10%? Sometimes I gotta go somewhere and I leave my laptop doing stuff but I don't want it to shutdown unexpectedly after battery reaches zero...

Yes, I think it's under Control Panel/Power Options, you can select at what % it warns you at, then what % it switches off at.

Just press on the battery sign in the bottom right hand side of the screen, and then press more power options. go to change when the computer sleeps and go to change advanced power settings under "adjust plan brightness". then restore the defaults. it must have been switched to a different percentage by mistake or by a program. if it keeps happening, then just manually plug it in in the advanced power options tab. go down to battery, and change it. good luck
