Windows 7 random restarts

my cuz is having a problem with his pc it randomly restarts his system is new his main error is \Device\Ide\IdePort1. etc

This error has to do with the hard drive... Do you have the computer with you? What are the computers specs. Is it a laptop or desktop computer?

it a desktop and i don't have it with me sadly it a i3 with 4gig ram and a gtx 295 1700mb version
and windows 7 64bit everthing but the video card is new

You might tell your cousin to try another hard drive
