Windows 7 to Windows 8 upgrading problem

    I made a bootable pendrive n trying to boot from external way its showing this message
    :- Use the other installation disc that says 64-bit. When you insert it, Windows Setup will restart automatically.
    when I click on the setup.
    n I tried for full format also but it wont work for me because
    first part get complete before the restart process ,after pc auto get restart for the second process ......it start from the beganing the same process .....what should I do now...

    m using sony vaio vpceb24en
    320 hardisk
    3 gb ram
    intel i3 processor

    Sounds like, if I can decypher what you said correctly, your computer is continually trying to boot off your USB stick. So after the first reboot I would just pull your USB stick out, then the setup should continually normally. You may have to put the USB stick back in to actually complete the install. So I would pull the stick on the 1st reboot, and put it back in as soon as Windows appears to be loading on its own.
