  1. For the last couple of days I've been getting repeat messages that my C:\ drive is failing and that I should back it up and take my computer to a repair shop and get it diagnosed and fixed.

    When I try to run the backup programme it fails as it cannot create an image on an NTFS formatted drive, well they all are so what am I to do?

    Yea, you need to have the drive replaced.

    If the backup program won't run, you also need to at least do a copy/paste to a different drive to save your personal files/folders before the drive crashes

    /* EDIT */
    After you at least have file/folder backups you can try to image the drive. Or let the repair shop try to do it for you

    Okay, thank you, at least I now know I'm not wasting my money unnecessarily.
