Windows;-Automatic Updates

By Maurice
Dec 3, 2004
  1. A simple question, like everybody else using Windows, from time to time, I get automatic updates.
I can't find out what the updates are, obviously, Windows think they are necessary, & no doubt they are [?], but it would be nice to know the details of each update as they happen.
We all know how tight-lipped & inaccessable Windows are, but is there a way to find out? [IMG]

    Hello Maurice.

If you click start then Windows update and after the page has loaded in the lefthand pane click on view installation history.

You will be able to see what updates have been installed and when.

    Hope this helps mate.

Also, you can click the advanced button, when the updates present themselves, to choose which updates to install. :chef:
