Windows Black Patches in Display

Hi Friends

I get some black patches in display in useing xp I upgrade my pc for that problem but it not solved please give me solution

intel 3.0ghz / gigabyte intel g31 chipset / 8400 nvidia graphic card / kingstan 2gb dd2 ram / I ball smps / 250 gb seagate sata hdd / moserbare dvd writer

Defective video graphics card, infestation, software issue, or hardware issue. I am betting that your video graphics hardware is in the early stages of failure... but it could as easily be a driver that requires replacement.
 
Look in the Notification Area- where the clock is:

There is an x over the Volume icon meaning you have the volume turned off.
To the right of the Volume icon, there is an error symbol (yellow triangle with black ! mark) on the letter 'K'.
To the left of the Volume icon and to the right of the << there is an 'X' over something- but I can't make it out.

Suggest you find what these processes are from and go from there. I don't know whether these are the cause of the problem, but those marks shouldn't be over those icons, whatever they are for. (Volume off is okay if you turned it off)
