I have a 2gb cruzer micro thumb drive and it has worked before in the past but I needed to use it for a windows boot disk and that requires fat32 format, I formatted it to that and now that all of the files are off of it windows tells me every time I plug it in that it needs to be formatted so I click format and it says “windows was unable to complete the format” any suggestions would be great.

Ok I just figured it out. Use the windows disk and go into the partiton manager and reformat it there and turn the computer off before it starts installing windows :)
