Help Please
My computer is running so slow and I can't figure out what it is. I have run a virus scan and there are no infected files, but yet the computer is still not functioning properly. Here are my two main problems.
1. The computer is having a hard time detecting the "my computer" file as well as other files in windows explorer. It takes two minutes to recognize these files. They eventually get recognized but it makes file management a real chore.
2. When opening a web page through google or any other search engine the computer freezes from time to time. It seems like there is a program running behind what I am doing.
I have cleared all my internet files
I have cleared all my cookies
I have cleared my history
I have also run a defrag.
This did not help.
