Windows Freecell statistics

  1. This is a totally random question/request, please bear with me.

I would like to know how to transfer the statistics from an older version of Freecell (2000/XP) to Windows 7. It appears in 2000/XP that data is stored in the registry, while in vista/7, they are stored in an XML file. The only problem is that just as a test I tried modifying the XML file to new game statistics, but upon starting up the game it zero'd out my previous stats.

    Any ideas?

    Take screenshot.
    Send to friends/enemies.
    Brag.
IDK, if it resets your score, it probably just thinks you are trying to cheat and won't let you do that.

Well, 90% of the file is more or less gibberish in wordpad so there are likely parts of it that is not being updated correctly or at all, so the numbers alone might not be the only thing that needs to be changed. =/

I'll see if I can get a screenshot from my friend, whom I am trying to figure this out for. =p
