Windows is shutting down

I am having a problem with when I would try to go and play Half-Life 2 episode 1 windows just shuts off on me. Ive already uninstalled and reinstalled the game but it still shuts down on me i don't know what i should do now. I just want it so my computer won't completely die on me.

Are you given any errors at all? How do your PC's temperatures look?

Im not having any problems with temperature it just says that there is an internal problem. It says there is a problem with the hardware and that is all.

Try updating all of your drivers.

Can you provide a full list of your hardware specifications?
