Windows Live Mail on Windows 7

It may be hear and I can't find. If so I apologize. I can't find a setting to allow incoming mail to be able to come in as HTML. I do see where I can do it in sent mail. Thank you on advance.

I found this on another forum so can't take any credit for it, (or blame if it is wrong).

You need to go into Tools/Options/Read tab.

Remove the check mark from the Read all messages in plain text option.

thank you, but..............

it is already set that way, so still not receivng in HTML. thank you for trying. wonder if is is a Win 7 issue more than Microsoft Live? maybe I'll try checking the box, restarting, uncheck the box and restart, again.:)

I don't think this will have anything to do with Windows as it is controlled by the email client. This registry edit will force it to display HTML.

I may not be all that clear on your problem, is it a problem reading an HTML email or are you not actually able to receive them which could be a security issue.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\mail\Message Read HTML

1 - Read messages in HTML
0 - Read messages in Plain Text
