Windows Media Player 11 problem

In windows media player 11, when I drag a video I downloaded from youtube to the playlist and try to play it, the player automatically adds all of the videos I have in the library to the playlist and I am unable to chose which video's I want to add to the playlist, It's all or nothing.

WMP playlist problems.

Sounds as if you are adding a video to an 'Auto playlist'.
When you add one video, WMP will add similar video files to the playlist.
In WMP, in 'library' mode, to the right of the 'Create playlist' option, (in the toolbar, that has the options, 'Organise, Stream, Create playlist'), there is a black down arrow, click that, and there are two options, 'Create playlist' and 'Create auto playlist'.
I think you might be adding a video to the 'auto' playlist, so to stop WMP adding all others similar, make a new playlist, but in the option 'Create playlist'.
