Windows Media Player help

    How do I make windows media player turn on and be displayed on screen when I select and play a media file (music). I click on the mp3 and the music plays fine but the windows media player window does not come up or is not seen in the tool bar-area. Now if I click on the icon from the desktop it finally shows up and is displayed. How do I set it so I can have it run and be displayed as default each time I select a music file?
