<Windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe problem

hello everyone !
I've had my HP laptop for about 2 months and this message :<Windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe ; keeps apearing from time to time...now its there permanently...
i have windows xp on it, no windows CD , just the pc alone.
I'm looking forward for your advice & thank you !

Its most likely to be bad ram. Google and get memtest and run it for atleast 7 passes. If it finds an error of any kind then you need to replace the ram.
