    I am unable to copy my files and documents to an external drive because this message appears. If anyone knows the DOS command for copying to external drive from this corrupt windows, I'd really appreciate hearing from you. I am able to get into the C & D drives by way of recovery screen, but need the codes to make the computer transfer all files to external FIREWIRE drive.

    Please help.

    I do not have a Windows XP cd and it's very expensive to purchase.

    Hi, i suggest that u do a repair, if u can otherwise get a boot cd like hiren to do the trick for you as for windows, if u can u can download a pirated copy to get u going until when u can buy a genuine one.
