Windows Server 2003: desktop data question

Hello,
I was working on one of the many computers here at the University. They have Windows Server 2003.

I logged in with my own user-name and password and have been writing a document on Microsoft Word for 4 hours.
The computer suddenly ceased any activity. The screen was frozen, and the only thing that was possible to do was to move the mouse pointer.
Clicking or alt+shift+del didnt have any effect.

Normally when I log off, the data on the desktop is lost. Is it possible to recover that document somehow?
Unfortunately the library closed in that moment, so I didn't even have time to reboot.

MS Word is set to save documents automatically at certain time intervals. Since you were in MS Word for hours, there has to be at least, a partial backup of the document. Just log back in an open Word... It may be listed under recent documents if you are lucky
