Windows Setup Freeze

    ok i need some serious help. I just bought new computer parts off newegg and am having a very difficult time and am not exactly sure what the deal is. I have the following specs:

    Gigabyte P35-DS3R motherboard
    Q6600 processor
    2x2GB Gskill DDR2 800 (PC6400)
    320GB WD Caviar
    8800GT 512MB EVGA video card


    EVERY time i try to install windows xp pro with this computer it freezes during the windows setup right after it starts... Its like it begins the windows setup where it is installing the devices at the bottom of the screen and then randomly it will just freeze on one of them.. Why would it do this?? Its driving me insane and i cant get windows to progress onto the actual install... Ive tried almost every possible and have ran out of ideas.. someone please help
