hi guys,
More of an annoyance than a problem, but here it is:
When up/downloading, I like to set my box to sleep/shutdown as soon as the download is done - obviously easily achieved with IE. The thing is that I mainly use Opera, but it behaves differently:
Using 5 minutes as an example, in IE, you can set to sleep and after 5 minutes of inactivity it'll switch off - inactivity meaning transfer complete and no more download window.
With Opera, the PC counts 5 minutes from the time you walk away, so 5 mins into your download it sleeps.
Obviously you can max it out at 5 hours, or 6 if you hibernate but this isn't really a solution, not to mention if the download runs over this amount of time.
Is this just an integration issue? I haven't used Chrome or Mozilla, so not too sure how they compare in this regard. Like I said, more of an annoyance - if I have to use IE for downloads, then it's not the end of the world.
thanks for any insight you can provide.
