Windows/System32/checkdnsid.xml file

    Hello

    I recently searched for any modified / created files in system32 windows directory, and I've found such file:

    checkdnsid.xml

    It contains simply one value with some number. I don't know what could create this file. I scanned my PC with Combofix, Kaspersky Malware scanner, Bitdefender, MSE and those programs did not found any suspicious files on my PC.

    When I google for this file, it exists in many OTL reports.

    Has anyone have any idea what is this file, what for it is created and am I on the safe side?
