Windows Update Failure (IE9 update error Code9C48)

I've upgraded one machine, used the parts that were taken out to upgrade another. Then I did a fresh install on both machines with Windows 7 Home Premium (x64). After completing the installation I validated the Install key on one machine (I'm awaiting the other in mail). Windows 7 SP1 has been installed to both machines and completely updated with the exception of this one update.

This is two different machines with completely different hardware yet the same update has failed on both machines. I've done a small search and not found anything other than disabling anti-virus or doing a system restore.

Does anyone know a solution to getting this update installed?

You could just review then ignore the update - it is optional.

Seems all I needed to do was wait.

I've checked both machines and the update was either completed or automatically remove from the list. Windows on both machines are completely updated.
