Hey TechSpot,
For the last few days, a few Microsoft programs on my computer have caused functions to shut down. Whenever Windows Live Messenger is open I cannot right click in any program. If Windows Media Player is open I can't open any other programs, and I can't access Explorer or any folders on my computer. If Internet Explorer is open, sometimes, just like Messenger, I lose the ability to right click. (This is happening now) Furthermore if I have any more then about six tabs open in Internet Explorer, It won't let me open any more, and just like the other problem I can't run any programs or open any folders.
To my knowledge there have been no hardware or software changes that could have caused this.
Short of reinstalling Vista, any suggestions?

1.Try System restore

2.Maybe a global policy somewhere,preventing right clicks ?

3.Spyware.

4.There might be an entry in your right click menu that is causing it.
Try uninstalling the program you most recently installed.
