Windows XP, normal or safe mode start won't work

Help me please. I havent had computer on for like a week, turned it on today and it wont start windows normal or safety mode. and if i press on either one computer just freezes.

You could start by removing your memory leaving just one stick in place and then try to boot, swap the sticks around if this does not work.

Please give some more information.
Make and model of the PC?
Do you have a retail Windows XP disc, not to be confused with the OEM disc that may have come with the PC?
Is this a new PC still under guarantee?
Have you made any changes like installing new software, if so what?
