Windows XP Pro installed over Windows Media 2005

  1. DU1152 Newcomer, in training

    I installed a new copy of Windows XP Pro sp2 on my Dell Dimension E310 which had Windows Media 2005. When I boot the machine up it asks me if I want to load XP Pro or Windows Media 2005. XP Pro is highlighted by default, and if I hit enter it will continue to load XP Pro. It works fine, but I would like to remove that step in the boot up. How can I do this? Thanks..........Danny

    Did you take a look at boot.ini? That's the most likely you are referring to.
