windows xp regedit

I am have a hard time figuring out how to rename my computer as in Who the system is registered to. with out reformating the drive. If anyone could help me please...

Just right click the icon and select rename.I did to "Stans Computer".
I also changed the icon.
It's not a Registery item,just renameing like most icons.
