Windows XP SP3 failed to install

    Hi everyone,
    I am unable to successfully install SP 3 on my windows xp home edition. The message is, "Access is denied". Not just access denied...apparently there is a difference according to MS knowledge base. I have run a program RegCure, and this did not make any difference. I am the computer owner/administrator and logged in as such. Any thoughts?
