Windows XP SP3 keeps rebooting

  1. I have read some of the post and turned off the auto restart.Now i get a blue screen and it tells me there is a Valid-Process-detach-Attempt.Now that it tells me the problem what can i do now???

    First, you didn't tell us what your original problem was that you thought you needed to turn off auto restart.

    Second, we need to know if your system can load to your desktop and if not can it boot-up at least in Safe Mode.

    windows xp 3ps shutting down

    my coumpter keeps shutting down and restarting thats why i turned the auto start off.I can get the internnt to start and than after around 1/2 hour to 45 min it shuts down.

    Open up your side panel. Is there dust build-up?

    Already have dusted and checked the fans also have changed power cord
